Allen G. Yee, CEA, RFC

A retirement specialist with the right stuff

Born in Hong Kong, Allen Yee grew up in Southern California among role models who shaped his character. “My grandfather and parents instilled traditional values such as hard work, honesty, integrity, and respect for others,” he explains.

After graduating from high school, Allen served his country in the U.S. Army, learning lessons in leadership, teamwork and commitment to service – values he uses every day to help San Gabriel Valley retirees plan for a lifetime of prosperity.

The character to care, the wisdom to lead

After graduating from Cal Poly Pomona in 1993 with a degree in finance, real estate and law, Allen entered the financial services industry to assist individual clients and teach other advisors to do the same. Education and hands-on experience have added to his financial wisdom, sharpened his investment skills, improved his problem-solving abilities and have been the basis for building a solid career. He founded Guidant Planning in 1999 as a way to further his dreams of helping San Gabriel Valley retirees experience a rewarding and financially independent retirement.

Today, with almost two decades of investment, tax, and retirement and estate planning experience, Allen continues to make a living by doing something he loves – guiding others toward their retirement dreams. His professional certifications include Certified Estate Advisor, and Registered Financial Consultant.

Allen is very active in the community, where his efforts focus on providing educational opportunities for programs associated with the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA), City of Hope, the City of Burbank, the City of Whittier, Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), Disney, Parsons Corporation, Robinson's May, and many more. In his spare time, Allen enjoys skiing and is an accomplished triathlete. He recently competed in his first Iron Man Competition.
