We wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude to everyone who came out for our shredding event on June 8th. The event was a huge success – together, we shredded 2,880 pounds of documents. That’s the equivalent of saving 24 trees or over 10,000 gallons of water conserved through recycling!
The event provides a convenient way to safely dispose of outdated tax records, financial statements, and other confidential documents. We hire a commercial document destruction company that provides mobile services to shred document on-site. Our goal is to help protect your identity and help prevent identity theft. Additionally, we provided hand-outs with additional strategies and best practices to maintain your identity. If you would like an email with these PDFs, please email us.
Afterwards, we enjoyed a delicious taco lunch that was cooked onsite and met other fellow Guidant Planning clients.
We're already looking ahead to organize our next biennial shredding party and look forward to seeing you at our next event. If you have any suggestions for how to make the next one better, please let us know. We're open to ideas about timing, location, food, or any other feedback. Our goal is to continue providing opportunities to protect your privacy.
